At Shine Yoga we believe in slowing our practice down to reconnect to the power of our breath and using that meditation to quiet the mind. We believe in making the practice of yoga accessible to all regardless of age, gender, fitness, faith or status.

VINYASA FLOW

Vinyasa or flow yoga links movement to breath moving slowly and mindfully between different poses.

YOGA NIDRA

A deep relaxation technique, yoga nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping like the “going to sleep” stage induced by guided meditation.

RESTORATIVE

Centered around the notion of physical and emotional balance, restorative classes are perfect for students looking to alleviate stress and fatigue.

PRE-NATAL YOGA

Classes are suitable for beginners and intermediate students from the beginning of the 2nd Trimester. Benefits of pregnancy yoga:

POST-NATAL YOGA

Post-natal yoga is a wonderful opportunity for you as a new mum to ease your way back into exercise after the birth of your baby. Discover how yoga can help you stretch, strengthen and tone your body. Whether you are new to yoga or reconnecting with it, these classes will restore your sense of well-being.

CHAIR/GENTLE YOGA

Gentle/Chair Yoga is a yoga class with a focus on making yoga accessible to those with concerns about physical limitations. Utilising props (chairs, walls, etc.) and pose modifications, gentle yoga is designed to support safe movement. This class enables those who are frail or not so flexible to safely do the exercises. Yoga is an excellent way to loosen and stretch painful muscles, reduce stress and improve circulation.
